Offering Pets Welcome staycations in the Lake District, the Lodge is a delightful, semi-detached 2 floors holiday cottage resting in the countryside of Staveley-In-Cartmel, near Bowness-in-Windemere.

Close to Lake Windermere and nestled within the stunning scenery of the Lake District National Park, this newly refurbished property is an ideal base for families and friends looking to explore Cumbria and the Lake District.

Park off-road and be welcomed into an open-plan living space where an opulent kitchen welcomes you to cook up a storm.

Here there is also space to dine together, and a sitting area ideal for morning coffee as you plan the day ahead of you.

Allow the handy utility to take care of all of your muddy clothes, as you recline in the separate sitting room with a good book, warming your feet beside the woodburning stove.

When sleep calls, choose between three beautifully presented bedrooms, each with sleek en-suite shower rooms, with options including one super-king-size room which can be set up as a twin on request, a second super-king-size, and a king-size room.

Outside, make the most of the sunshine by dining alfresco on the patio.

Explore the beauty of Cumbria and the Lake District with a stay at The Lodge.

NEWBY BRIDGE

Bowness-on-Windermere 8 miles.

The small village of Newby Bridge takes its name from the five arched stone bridge built in 1651 over the River Leven. The famous Furness Railway, one of Britain’s oldest working standard gauge steam railways, runs between Haverthwaite and Newby Bridge. Visit the Lakeside Hotels and enjoy magnificent views across Windermere and the surrounding fells, or enjoy the Aquarium of the Lakes, where the naturally themed habitats, bring the history of the Lakes vividly to life. Bowness-on-Windermere provides a lovely day out, plus the picturesque village of Hawkshead still retains the charm and character that so endeared it to its most famous residents – William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter, and admire the views at nearby Gummer’s How.
