Catfield is a lovely village resting between Barton Broad and Potter Heigham in Norfolk. The village is well-known for its links to the boat building industry, and being the former holiday destination of poet William Cowper, and offers a Post Office housing a well-stocked convenience store and The Crown Inn pub and restaurant. The village is surrounded by the stunning Broads, where you can stretch your legs on hikes and bike rides whilst enjoying breath-taking scenery. Continue onto Horsey, where you can visit the National Trust site of Horsey Windpump along with Horsey Mere, Nelson Head, Poppylands Tearoom, The Hatch, and the golden sands of Horsey Gap. Next stop is Great Yarmouth, where you will find a wealth of attractions include a sea life centre, National Trust Elizabethan House, Great Yarmouth Beach, The Venetian Waterways, and Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach. Further afield, you will find Norwich, home to the attractions of Norwich Cathedral, Sainsbury Centre, The Museum of Norwich at the Bridewell, Norwich Castle Museum & Art Gallery, Strangers’ Hall, and The Plantation Garden.
